Dong Seoul College's Department of Acting helps students to 'learn' the art of acting in many different genre's art of acting, such as television and movie, theatre, musical, with active and adventurous mind. Also training students with unique curriculum so they can lead a contemporary acting performance field. Today, performing art has been improving splendidly and social needs of many cultural contents are desperate. These cultural industry's high expected value is improving country's profit and Korean cultural growth. Our department have a sense of duty that we are cultural art's messenger and throughout each major's course, we talent hunt and bring up students with talent as a television and movie actors, theatre actors, acting, musical actors and such. Training many actors of different genre through theory and performance, and this could help them to cultivate their ability. Training talent for Korean art culture, acting performance field's structural development, and popular culture's glowing foundation are the objective of our department.
